    TABE Testing - 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Community Technology Center. Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) measures the skills adults need to succeed on the job and in life looking at four content areas: reading comprehension, language comprehension, applied mathematics, and computational mathematics. Many public assistance programs require a TABE for applicants including: Wisconsin Works (W-2), WIOA, Job Training Program (JTP), Food Share Employment and Training (FSET), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). The Menominee Job Center will have TABE testing every Tuesday and Thursday each month.

    Administrative Assistant Certification - This session will be offered over the course of two weeks (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the College of Menominee Nation Community Technology Center. The cost per participant is $450 and includes 16 hours of Microsoft Excel instruction, instruction on how to improve communication skills, workplace productivity, and professional development. This certification is appropriate for both seasoned professionals and those new to the Administrative Assistant field.
