  • MON | APR 19 - Mini Class: Citizen Science - 5 p.m. We'll be taking a look at the amazing work of citizen scientists and what that means to you. Citizen science is an ongoing trend that puts the science in the hands of the citizens. Join other scientists from all over the globe to help track, observe, and share what you find. Although this mini-class is designed for college and high school students, all are welcome to watch on Facebook Live.
  • MON-WED | APR 19-21 - 2021 Shifting Seasons Summit: Sharing Adaptation and Resilience Knowledge Across Indigenous Communities - This is the third installment of the Shifting Seasons Summit series hosted by the College of Menominee Nation Sustainable Development Institute. This Summit will include climate adaptation sessions tailored to the needs and capabilities of Tribes, and will focus on the development of in-depth case studies based on existing Tribal adaptation work in the Northeast region. This summit also includes relevant Tribal climate change initiatives developed outside of the Northeast by capacity-building organizations, academic institutions, and Tribes who have approved climate adaptation plans, thus creating continued network-building opportunities.   • TUES | APR 20 - Garden Time Workshop: Planning Your Garden - Noon - This hands-on workshop will help new gardeners plan their backyard gardens. We will talk about what we like to eat, what we want to grow, watering sources, full-sun, and vegetables that grow well together. We will have handouts on different planting strategies.
