Menominee Youth Empowerment Program

YEP

The College of Menominee Nation, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Extension, Menominee Indian School District, Menominee Tribal School, and Woodland Boys & Girls Club, will be working together on the Menominee Youth Empowerment Program (MYEP) grant. This grant will run for a 5 year period. The MYEP will develop a unified community strategy to break the cycle of high risk behaviors and promote family resiliency.

The MYEP seeks to address unhealthy behaviors in at-risk minority youth, 11-14 years of age, and provide them with opportunities to learn skills and gain experiences that contribute to more positive lifestyles and enhance their capacity to make healthier choices.
