  Heidi Cartwright began working for the College of Menominee Nation in June, 2002, as the Youth Program Coordinator. She began teaching courses related to the Criminal Justice program in the fall of 2003.

Currently, Heidi instructs introductory courses in criminal justice as well as general education courses. The College of Menominee Nation’s Criminal Justice program is a shared program with Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wisconsin. This joint venture has allowed both colleges to develop standardized curricula and administer a high quality program.
 

 

Heidi serves as the liaison for College of Menominee Nation to the National Multi-Jurisdictional Law Enforcement Conference Advisory Board. The Multi-Jurisdictional Conference, held annually in Green Bay, Wisconsin, enables Tribal and Non-Tribal service members to network and explore new issues facing law enforcement officials in the criminal justice field today.

Before coming to the College of Menominee Nation, Heidi has held positions in law enforcement as a police officer at the local level for both the City of Clintonville and City of Manawa Police Departments. She has also served as the Police School Liaison Officer.

 

Heidi received her Masters of Science degree from the University of Platteville in Criminal Justice and her Bachelors of Science degree from Marian College of Fond du Lac in Administration of Justice.

In her spare time Heidi enjoys playing volleyball, camping, and spending time with her husband and two children.
