CMN AISES Team Competes in Soap Box Derby

The American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) of the College of Menominee Nation (CMN) entered five teams in the 7th Annual "Thriller on the Hill" Soap Box Derby held on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Each team consisted of 8-17 year old family members of current CMN students. Brian Waukau and Kemewan Waupekenay nearly made it to the third place qualifier, but came up short by under a second.

A special thank goes to the CMN students in the Trades Department who dedicated their time to build the cars for the race. Thank you to the CMN students who allowed their children to participate in the races.
