In Remembrance of Former Board Chairman, Bernard Kaquatosh

This message is in remembrance of Bernard “Ben” Kaquatosh who served the College of Menominee Nation as a founding member of our Board of Trustees. His service included a lengthy and distinguished time as Chairman of the Board (2005-2015). He chose to retire from the Board after his 2015 term, but continued to be a friend to CMN and an advocate for higher education. Ben also served the larger community as Director of Human Resources for the Menominee Indian Tribe and in this capacity often assisted the College as a consultant on various projects and pursuits of the Board. Today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Ben was laid to rest. I ask our staff, faculty, students, and alumni to share in honoring him and paying homage to his dedication to the College’s mission. He was instrumental in the early evolution of the College of Menominee Nation and whole heartedly supported the educational pursuits of the Menominee Nation. On behalf of the College of Menominee Nation, I extend our condolences to his family during this time.

Christopher Caldwell, Interim President
